At CopperRidge Labradors, we raise exceptional puppies with sound temperaments, strong health, and a natural fit for family life. As a preservation breeder, we produce a limited number of carefully planned litters each year to ensure every puppy receives the attention and care they deserve.

Our Labradors are intelligent, loyal companions raised with intention and care. Our breeding dogs are OFA certified, receive annual eye and cardiac screenings, and are DNA tested and clear of PRA, EIC, CNM, HNPK, and DM — helping ensure healthy, well-rounded puppies.

Meet Sam, Your Breeder

From a young age, Sam Harvey’s life has been rooted in a love for dogs. Growing up on her family’s farm, where border collies were bred for generations, she was rarely without a puppy in her arms — a passion that naturally led her to become a breeder.

After settling in Connecticut with her husband, Sam turned her focus to Labrador retrievers. Known for their loyalty, intelligence, and love for families, Labs were the perfect fit for her vision of raising exceptional companions and building a community centered around them.

With over a decade of experience, Sam has built the CopperRidge family on a foundation of care, intention, and quality. Every dog is raised in her home, receiving hands-on attention, proper nutrition, and extensive health testing to ensure each puppy is a true reflection of the breed.
